The Bayswater Waves Aquatic Facility, situated at 160 Broun Avenue, Embleton, is the primary
aquatic facility for the City of Bayswater.
Council has resolved that the refurbishment of the Bayswater Waves facility be undertaken in a
number of stages to ensure that the facility is able to continue operations.

Commercial Refurbishment Project for City of Bayswater for Change Rooms & Outdoor Pools Full Building Refurbishment including full service demolition to completion on site.​

  • Main Contractor - Approx. $2.5m Commercial Refurbishment Project for City of Bayswater

  • 50mtr Outdoor Change Rooms Full Building Refurbishment including:

  • Demolition of Existing Finishes

  • Pre-Lays for New Services (Hydraulic, Electrical, Fire & Mechanical)

  • Brickwork Infills, Re-Plastering, Re-Screeding & Waterproof Membranes

  • New Ceilings including Painting

  • New Doors Frames, Doors, Door Hardware & Signage

  • New Tiling Finishes (Floors & Walls)

  • Internal Fit-Out i.e. New Vanity Units, Cubicle Partitioning Systems and Bench Seating

  • External New Lean-To Steel Structure including Concrete Pad Footing & Roof Linings (Sheeting & Rainwater Goods)

  • 25mtr Pool Refurbishment & Surrounding Pool Concourse including:

  • Demolition of Existing Finishes

  • Formwork, Steel-Fixing & Concrete for New LTS (Learn-to-Swim) Pool, New Head Walls & Replacement of Centre Channel including Plumbing

  • Replacement of Combiflex using Sika System and Waterproofing (Epoxy) Metz System

  • Re-Plaster & Re-Screed using Metz System

  • Re-Tile (Tarver Method) using Metz System
