The renovation works at South Hedland Aquatic Centre for The Town of Port Hedland works included assessment and staging of works through to final completion handed over on site mid-May 2023.

DESCRIPTION OF WORKS

Separable Portion 1: Leisure Pool Floor Vinyl Liner Replacement

Cut out, removal and disposal of existing damaged pool floor liner
Supply and installation of new pool floor membrane liner (Renolit)
Earthing and equipotential bonding and as per Myrtha and industry standard

Separable Portion 2: 50m Pool Gutter Tile

Removal of existing structural ceramic inside face pool tile
Repair of any damaged areas of PVC panel membrane damage during removal
Clean-up of removed tiling, removal of silicon and adhesives from tiles to allow reuse
Re-lay of existing structural ceramic gutter tile with materials and methodology compliant as per ‘Code of Practice for the Design, Construction, Operation, Management & Maintenance of Aquatic Facilities.’

Separable Portion 3: Additional Lane Rope Anchors (50m pool).

Supply and Installation of 6 x additional lane rope anchors, both gutter and wall
Earthing and equipotential bonding and as per Myrtha and industry standard
