Hydrotherapy Pool Remediation Program maintenance across various institutional school sites. Maintenance and repairs to ensure current AS/NZS 3000:2018 standards are maintained. Works done to accommodate school programs & sensitivities.
DESCRIPTION OF WORKS
The Western Australian Department of Education engaged Royal Life Saving WA in January 2021 to oversee a series of Equipotential Bonding tests that were conducted by a qualified Electrician and School Pool Safety Assessments that were conducted by Royal Life Saving WA across the Department’s 52 sites with aquatic facilities.

These reviews assessed all sites against the following key documents:

The Western Australian Department of Health’s Code of Practice for the Design, Construction, Operation and Management of Aquatic Facilities 2020,

The Royal Life Saving Australia Guidelines for Safe Pool Operations, and.

AS 3000:2018 – Electrical Installations

This project identified a need for remediation works across a number of school pool sites, particularly in relation to the adequacy and performance of Equipotential Bonding of each facility.
